Stellite blade
Blade with stellite teeth. The application of stellite is the latest trend in the treatment of blades. It is an alloy based on cobalt and chromium containing other elements. Compared to the standard steel blade, this type of blade is much more resistant to breakage and consequently does not require a frequent replacement or sharpening. The blade is supplied already sharpened.
The use of a stellite blade brings the following benefits:
– it can be used up to two turns without having to be changed and sharpened
– it does not require the setting of teeth
– it allows a higher cutting speed
– it gets a slightly rough cutting surface
– possibility to cut extremely hard tropical woods
Use: soft, hard or very hard wood.
